Bill Apple

Mt. Pisgah Church is a community of believers who unabashedly call themselves Christian. We like to think of ourselves as an enclave of hope reaching out to a needy world through our Lord Jesus Christ. With a love and warmth that exemplifies the one true God; we welcome everyone to join us for a life-changing experience that puts all things into perspective. We are committed to sharing the love of Christ in our daily lives through who we are and who we become.

We believe that worship is the most important activity for a Christian. Worship provides the proper perspective with our Creator and Savior, in that, we praise, honor and thank God for life and love. Each Sunday we celebrate in three worship services, traditional to modern. You’ll find a worship service here that will resonate with your inner spirit so you may experience the Holy Spirit abundantly.

This will save your life, so it is the best help we can offer. As we believe that we all need a personal relationship with Christ, it is imperative that we know Him – after all, He said that He came to be our friend (John 15:14-15 NIV).

Mission programs are not an option in the church; they are the foundation for spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. Mt Pisgah UMC is more than a structure; it is a living organism. Our mission is to proclaim the gospel and to welcome people into the body of Christ, to lead people to a commitment to God through Jesus Christ, to nurture them in Christian living by various means of grace, and to send persons into the world as agents of Jesus Christ.

There are now Four ways to Tithe or Give to the Church

The preferred method is by Automatic Bank Draft. This method is great for those members or visitors who normally give the same amount each time they give. It saves time and the hassle of writing checks and reduces clerical time at the church in recording your giving. Automatic Bank Draft is a cost free service to the church and you. You can choose the draft date most convenient to you, the 1st, 15th and each Monday of the month. How to sign up details are available in the church volunteer office.

Tithe Or Give during the church service by check or cash.

Tithe or Give by mailing your check to the church office.

By Credit or Debit Card. This is a convenient way to tithe or give, especially for those special fund raising events that are announced in service, such as a special mission or projects like the Elevator Fund. Unlike the Automatic Bank Draft there is a bank merchant fee cost to the church when tithing or giving with your Credit or Debit Card. Credit or Debit card giving can be accessed through the church web page or scanning a bar code with your Smart Phone. Both methods are explained in detail in our On-Line Giving via the Internet supplement which is available in the church volunteer office.
If you need assistance with completing the form for Automatic Draft of assistance with getting started with On-Line Giving please see Ray Marsh, Pam Inman or Dee Earl.
