Baptism

This one of the two sacraments (sacred events which Christ commanded us to do) we celebrate in our church. Baptism is where Christ brings us close to Him and takes away the original sins of our Biblical ancestors. It is something that we cannot earn, so we baptize people of all ages (and we only do it once because it is God acting upon us and what God does, He does perfectly the first time).

For more information on baptism at Mount Pisgah, contact the Church Office at (336) 288-3321.

Weddings

Weddings are sacred acts where a man and woman accept the love of God and express it through marriage. We believe that God intended for us to hold marriage and family as the basic building block for the world (however, we also believe that He didn’t intend for everyone to marry). At Mt. Pisgah, we marry both members and non-members. If you are interested, please call the church office to inquire.

Funerals

While death is certainly a sad occasion, it is also a step in our lives where we move on to a greater and most glorious existence. The funeral is a celebration of life both here and in heaven. If you experience a death in your family, please call the church office or a pastor immediately so we can help. We believe that funerals should be held in the sanctuary as it is actually a worship service.
